Kisura wa tanzania is an annual televised competition that began in November 2007 and concluded its Firsrt season in April 2008 with Emmy Melau From Arusha emrging the winner.Kisura wa Tanzania wa Tanzania was launched with the purpose of empowering young women from different parts of the country and different socio-econimic Background hence the theme “Mimi ni Kisura, Najitambua” The upcoming season of kisura will have a new team,which includes ally Rehmtuallah ,raqey,vanesa Mdee and Emmy Melau Which will go scouting in Phase so as not to conflict with the holy Month of Ramadhan. Phase of scouting will begin with Arusha ,Moshi,Karatu,Tanga, and Dar es salaamfrom august 16th to August 21th Phase two will commence in Musoma then Head to Mwanza and conclude in ngara.This will begin after the Holy Month of Ramadhan ,on the 27 of September till 2nd October .the final Phase will commence in Kondoa then go to Singida and Conclude in Bahati from October 4th till 10th The chosen gilr shall be taken to Dar to begin their Trainingin a boot camp.the girls will be eliminated until five girls are left and the winner of kisura season two is found at the Grand Finale.
