How to Behave at a Professional Football Game By an eHow Contributor
You watch football games on TV, and you see people in the stands acting like animals, behaving disgracefully, and ruining the games for the others. At first you wonder why people would do something like that, but then you remember--you did that at the stadium last week! So now the question is, how can you corral that frat boy behavior the next time you're at a football game?
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
1
Sit in the seat you purchased. It's more than just honesty. You'll avoid trouble with whoever has the seat you're sitting in.
2
Watch your alcohol consumption, or don't even drink at all. After all, you didn't need beer to enjoy the game when you were thirteen. You'll also save a bit of money since alcohol is usually among the most expensive concessions.
3
Avoid foul language. Think of what you wouldn't want to say in front of your own kids. Then remember that there probably are kids seated nearby.
4
Cheer for your team but avoid taunting the other. Remember, it's the other team's job to try and win. Besides, "your mama" jokes are old and worn out.
5
Avoid fighting with fans of the other team, even if it's just verbally. They have the right to cheer for whoever they want.
6
Keep your shirt on. No one wants to see you act like a Chippendale's dancer. Besides, it's probably very cold out there anyway.
7
Avoid arguing with the referee. Just because a call went against your team doesn't mean it was wrong. Even if it might have been wrong, the referee is only human.

Tips & Warnings
Take a kid with you to the game. Hopefully, you can behave better in order to et a good example for the kid.
Always remember those four words: It's Only a Game. Whether your team wins or loses shouldn't affect your life. If you can just remember that, it will be much easier to behave.
