Mancini: City can overcome Given blow

Manchester City manager Robert Mancini believes his side can cope without Shay Given after the Irishman went off injured in today's goalless draw at Arsenal.
Given suffered what looked like a shoulder injury when diving to make a save in the second half and was replaced by Faroe Islands international Gunnar Nielsen.
"I hope it's a little injury, but I don't know. Now Shay is in the hospital so I don't know," Mancini said after the Premier League match. "I don't think we have a problem for the next three games."
Today I think we deserved a point. I think a draw is the right result. We had spirit and character, it's not easy to play here.

Defender Kolo Toure admitted Given will be a loss, but gave his backing to Nielsen. "I think he's done his shoulder," said the Ivorian. "He's a really important player for us. "I think the second goalkeeper did really well."
A point gained
Mancini was pleased to hold the Gunners at the Emirates. "It's a good point. I think we played a good game today," the Italian said on ESPN. "Today I think we deserved a point. I think a draw is the right result. We had spirit and character, it's not easy to play here."
Toure also saw the draw as a point gained. "One point is always really good because when you go to Arsenal it's always really difficult to play against them," he said. "It was a really tough game. Both teams were a little bit scared as we know each other and both teams have good strikers."
