Fabregas pledges Arsenal loyalty
Fabregas joined Arsenal in September 2003 at the age of 16
Cesc Fabregas has attempted to quell speculation that he might return to Spain by pledging to stay at Arsenal.
The Gunners skipper has been linked with a move to former club Barcelona, where he was a youth team player.
But midfielder Fabregas, 22, said: "Of course I see my future at Arsenal. I have a long contract with the club.
"I would have never signed that if I did not think I was capable of making it [to the end of the deal]. The boss knows that I really want to stay here."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger made Fabregas his team captain last November after William Gallas was stripped of the role.
His current deal runs until 2014, but Fabregas told Arsenal TV: "What you cannot stop is what people say about you. The press can write or say whatever they want.
Let's stop questioning his commitment and get behind our players

"Since I was 18, they have been saying [he is seeking a transfer], but I am still here.
"I hope I can be at Arsenal for many years and lift trophies like the Champions League, the Premier League, FA Cups.
"I am really looking forward to it because I am sure the future is bright here."
Fabregas spent the best part of four months on the sidelines in the middle of last season following a knee problem.
He also became embroiled in a row with members of Hull's coaching staff who alleged he spat at them following an FA Cup tie in March.
